By using this Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These Terms govern use of the Site only; retained search engagements with employer clients are governed by separate written agreements.
MDSearch provides physician and healthcare practitioner recruitment services to employer organizations across Canada. Our services are retained and employer-paid. Physicians and healthcare practitioners never pay a fee to MDSearch — at any stage, for any service.
Postings on this Site describe active, retained searches.
Employer identity is generally not disclosed in postings. Our standard practice is to generalize the identity of the employer so that candidates apply through MDSearch rather than directly to the organization. This protects the confidentiality of our clients’ searches and ensures every candidate receives the same complete, accurate briefing.
Employer identity is disclosed to a candidate at the appropriate stage of the recruitment process, or earlier where the location or nature of the role makes the employer self-evident (for example, a locum in a community with a single healthcare employer).
Applying to a posting is an application to MDSearch, not to the employer. Candidates agree to be introduced to the employer through MDSearch and not to circumvent MDSearch by approaching the employer directly in respect of a role first presented by us.
Postings are prepared from information supplied by employer clients. MDSearch publishes this information in good faith and keeps its board current — we remove filled and inactive roles rather than leaving stale listings up.
Each employer client is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information it provides for a posting, and agrees to indemnify MDSearch against claims arising from materially inaccurate information supplied by that employer. Compensation figures, schedules, and role details are indicative and subject to confirmation in a direct agreement between the candidate and the employer.
Registering with MDSearch, applying to a posting, or being presented to an employer does not constitute an offer of employment and does not guarantee placement, an interview, or any particular outcome. Any employment or contractual relationship is formed directly between the candidate and the employer.

All content on this Site — text, design, posting descriptions, and branding — belongs to MDSearch or is used with permission. You may view and share links to the Site freely; reproduction of content requires our written consent.
The Site may link to external websites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.
The Site and its content are provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MDSearch and its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, though we work to keep it both.
Use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and protect personal information — including our commitment that candidate information is never presented to an employer without the candidate’s explicit consent.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
