The Role

The GP/Dermatologist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide professional patient care at all times and provide a friendly and inviting environment for patients
  • Conduct patient skin assessment, treatment planning and implementation, evaluation of treatments for effective outcomes
  • Provide consult notes to referring family physicians for new patients
  • Perform follow-up care for existing patients and/or refer to an internal general practitioner for continuation of care
  • Assist with coaching the nursing team to be able to provide effective patient care
  • Participate in training and education opportunities provided by the company
  • Adhere to company policies and protocols
  • Work with the marketing team to build and promote personal social media presence
  • Utilize exceptional communication skills to build relationships with both patients and employees

Requirements

  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License
  • Diploma in Dermatology (e.g., Cardiff Diploma in Practical Dermatology) or equivalent postgraduate dermatology training required
  • A strong passion for the cosmetic dermatology field
  • Certifications for lasers, Botox, and/or dermal filler an asset, but not required
  • Prior experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic medicine industry an asset, but not required

  • Independently assess the Veteran's mental health condition, review relevant clinical information, and provide a clinical opinion regarding the appropriateness of the current treatment plan and dosage.

Key Details

  • Work Setting: 100% Virtual
  • Schedule: Minimum 1 day (or 2 half days) per week, or equivalent of ~10 patients/week
  • Patient Volume: ~3-4 patients/hour

Requirements

  • Licensure required: Candidates must be licensed to practice in Quebec.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Experience working with members of the military community preferred.
